Sample Development for B2B Hanger Projects
Sample development is an important step before bulk hanger production, especially for OEM orders involving custom logo, color, size, hook finish, clip structure or private label packaging. A clear sample helps buyers confirm the final product before committing to mass production.
THG Hanger supports sample development for plastic hangers, wooden hangers, metal hangers and clip hangers. Most projects start from a reference photo, existing sample, drawing, logo file, color requirement or packaging artwork.
For importers, wholesalers, apparel brands, hotel suppliers, retail chains and private label buyers, sample approval helps reduce risks in logo position, color difference, material selection, clip tension, hook finish and carton packing.
Reference Review and Requirement Confirmation
Before making a sample, we need to understand the buyer’s target hanger type and order use. The required details may include hanger material, width, color, hook finish, clip style, logo method, packaging type, order quantity and destination.
If buyers have an existing hanger sample or clear reference image, it helps us check whether the style can be matched with current production support or whether adjustments are needed. For new designs, drawings or detailed measurements are useful for checking size, shape and structure.
For wider customization details, buyers can review our Custom Hanger Service page before preparing inquiry information.
Logo, Color and Material Sample Check
Logo, color and material are usually confirmed early in the sample process. Logo method may include printing, laser engraving, hot stamping or label application depending on hanger material. Color confirmation may involve plastic color, wood finish, metal coating, velvet color, hook plating or clip color.
A physical sample is more reliable than a screen image because color and finish may look different under different lighting. For wooden hangers, natural grain may also create slight variation, so approved samples should be used as practical references instead of expecting every piece to look identical.
If the sample includes a custom logo, buyers should check logo size, position, clarity, color and surface effect before approval.
Structure, Hook and Clip Confirmation
For hanger samples, structure is as important as appearance. Buyers should check hanger width, shoulder curve, bar length, hook center position, clip tension, non-slip detail and overall balance.
Clip hangers need special attention because clip tension affects garment holding and possible fabric marks. Pants hangers should be checked for bar length and surface treatment. Wooden and plastic hangers should be reviewed for shoulder shape, hook assembly and load-bearing suitability.
For projects involving functional parts, the Hook & Clip Options page can help confirm hook finish, clip structure and non-slip bar details.
Packaging Sample Approval
If the order includes private label packaging, packaging should be checked together with the hanger sample. This may include polybag, paper sleeve, header card, retail box, barcode sticker, inner carton, export carton and carton mark.
Packaging approval helps avoid problems such as wrong barcode placement, unsuitable box size, weak carton protection, incorrect carton mark or mismatched packing quantity. For retail and brand programs, packaging color and logo position should also match the approved hanger sample.
Buyers can plan packaging requirements in more detail through our Private Label Packaging page.
Sample Time, Cost and Revision
Most custom samples usually take 5–10 days depending on hanger structure, material, logo process and packaging requirement. Existing styles with simple logo or color adjustment may be faster. New shape development, special finish or printed packaging may need more time.
Sample cost depends on material, logo method, mold or tooling needs, packaging complexity and shipping method. If the first sample needs revision, buyers should clearly mark the changes, such as logo size, hook color, clip tension, hanger width or packaging layout.
Clear revision comments help avoid repeated sampling and reduce total project time.
Pre-Production Approval Before Bulk Orders
Before bulk production, buyers should confirm the approved sample, final artwork, packaging method, order quantity, carton mark and shipping term. This approved sample becomes the reference for production and final inspection.
Bulk production usually takes 20–35 days after sample approval and deposit confirmation. During production, THG Hanger checks material, size, surface finish, hook strength, clip tension, logo position, load-bearing performance, packing quantity and final pre-shipment condition.
What to Send for Sample Development
To start sample development, please send hanger type, material, size, color, hook finish, clip style, logo file, packaging requirement, order quantity and destination.
If you have a reference photo, technical drawing, existing hanger sample, Pantone number, packaging artwork or carton mark template, please include it with your inquiry. Complete information helps us check feasibility, sample time, MOQ and bulk production plan more accurately.
