Manufacturing Process for B2B Hanger Buyers

THG Hanger supports hanger production and assembly for importers, wholesalers, apparel brands, hotel suppliers, retail chains and private label buyers. The manufacturing process covers plastic hangers, wooden hangers, metal hangers and clip hangers, with different production routes depending on material, structure, logo method and packaging requirement.

For wholesale and OEM orders, the process is not only about making hangers. Buyers also need sample confirmation, stable material control, size checking, surface review, hook and clip inspection, packing confirmation and shipment preparation.

A clear production process helps buyers understand how an approved sample is turned into bulk goods.

Material Preparation and Sample Reference

Before production starts, the confirmed sample and order details should be reviewed. This includes hanger type, material, size, color, hook finish, clip style, logo method, packaging and carton mark.

Plastic hangers usually use PP, PS or ABS. Wooden hangers may use solid wood or bamboo depending on the target market and finish. Metal hangers can use iron wire, stainless steel or aluminum. Clip hangers need extra confirmation on bar length, clip structure and clip tension.

For OEM projects, sample approval is important before mass production. Buyers can review more details through our Sample Development page.

Forming, Processing and Assembly

Different hanger types follow different production steps. Plastic hangers are usually made through injection molding, trimming, hook assembly and surface checking. Wooden hangers involve cutting, shaping, sanding, drilling, coating, logo processing and hook assembly.

Metal hangers are formed by bending or shaping, followed by coating, plating or surface finishing according to order requirements. Clip hangers require bar assembly, clip fitting, hook installation and balance checking.

During this stage, production details affect final quality. Poor trimming may leave rough edges. Uneven coating may affect appearance. Loose hook assembly may cause shipment complaints. Clip tension should be suitable for the garment type.

For plastic hanger production details, buyers can also refer to Plastic Hanger Injection Molding.

Logo and Surface Processing

Logo processing is arranged after material and structure are confirmed. Common logo methods include printing, laser engraving, hot stamping or label application. The suitable method depends on hanger material, surface finish, logo size and buyer requirement.

Surface processing also needs control. Wooden hangers should be checked for smoothness, coating effect and wood finish. Plastic hangers need clean color and surface consistency. Metal hangers need coating or plating review to reduce visible defects.

Logo position, color and clarity should follow the approved sample. For branded hanger orders, logo and packaging should be checked together before bulk packing.

In-Process Quality Checking

Quality checking should happen during production, not only before shipment. Main inspection points include material condition, hanger width, shoulder shape, hook strength, clip tension, bar length, surface finish, logo position and load-bearing performance.

For clip hangers, clip opening force and bar balance are important. For wooden hangers, surface smoothness and hook assembly should be reviewed carefully. For plastic hangers, edge trimming, color consistency and structure strength should be checked.

If required by the buyer, third-party inspection can be arranged before shipment. This is especially useful for larger wholesale orders, retail chain projects or private label programs.

Packing and Shipment Preparation

After inspection, hangers are packed according to buyer requirements. Packaging options may include bulk carton packing, polybag, paper sleeve, header card, retail box, barcode sticker, inner carton, export carton and custom carton mark.

Packing quantity, carton size and inner protection should be confirmed before shipment because hangers are lightweight but take space. Export carton marks, barcode labels and packing details should match the approved order information.

What Buyers Should Confirm Before Production

Before placing a bulk hanger order, please confirm hanger type, material, size, color, hook finish, clip style, logo file, packaging method, order quantity and destination.

Most custom samples usually take 5–10 days depending on structure, material, logo process and packaging. Bulk production usually takes 20–35 days after sample approval and deposit confirmation.

Clear production details help THG Hanger check feasibility, MOQ, sample cost, lead time and packing plan more accurately for OEM and wholesale hanger orders.
