Hook and Clip Assembly for B2B Hanger Orders
Hook and clip assembly affects how a hanger works in real use. For apparel brands, hotel suppliers, retail chains, wholesalers, laundry buyers and private label programs, a hanger must not only look correct, but also hold garments securely, hang straight and stay stable during transport.
THG Hanger supports hook and clip assembly for plastic hangers, wooden hangers, metal hangers and clip hangers. Buyers can confirm hook finish, hook center position, clip type, clip tension, bar length, non-slip detail and packing method before sample approval.
For broader option planning, buyers can review our Hook & Clip Options page.
Hook Installation and Center Position
Hook installation should be checked according to hanger material and structure. Wooden hangers need firm hook insertion and clean drilling position. Plastic hangers may use molded hook areas or assembled metal hooks. Metal hangers need stable hook shape and forming consistency.
The hook should be centered and aligned with the hanger body. If the hook position is off-center, the hanger may lean when garments are loaded. This is especially important for suit hangers, coat hangers, hotel hangers and pants hangers with clips.
Clip Assembly and Tension Control
Clip hangers are commonly used for pants, skirts, kidswear, garment sets and retail display programs. Clip assembly should focus on clip position, opening force, grip strength and balance.
Clip tension should match the garment type. Strong tension can hold heavier garments but may leave marks on delicate fabric. Light tension may be suitable for thin garments but can increase slipping risk. For bulk orders, clip tension should follow the approved sample as closely as possible.
Bar length and clip position also need confirmation. If the clips are too close, the hanger may not fit the garment. If the bar is too long, carton size and shipping cost may increase.
Assembly Inspection During Production
Assembly inspection should happen before final packing. Main checking points include hook strength, hook rotation, hook center alignment, clip tension, clip opening, bar length, non-slip detail, hanger balance and surface condition.
For logo hangers, the hook and clip should not affect the logo position or garment display. For private label orders, barcode label, packaging and carton mark should match the approved sample.
Sample Approval and Bulk Production Control
For OEM orders, hook and clip assembly should be approved by sample before mass production. Buyers should check whether the hanger hangs straight, whether the clip holds correctly, whether the hook finish matches the requirement and whether the packing protects the assembled parts.
Most custom samples usually take 5–10 days depending on hanger material, hook finish, clip structure and packaging. Bulk production usually takes 20–35 days after sample approval and deposit confirmation.
During bulk production, the approved sample is used as the reference for assembly, inspection and packing.
What to Send for Quotation
To quote hook and clip assembly requirements, please send hanger type, material, hook finish, hook color, clip type, clip color, bar length, non-slip requirement, logo file, packaging method, order quantity and destination.
If you have a reference sample, drawing or product photo, please include it with your inquiry. Clear hook and clip details help THG Hanger check feasibility, MOQ, sample time and production plan more accurately for wholesale and OEM hanger orders.
